Account & Data Deletion

You own your data. This page explains how to delete your Threadwell account and everything tied to it — directly in the app, or by request.
Delete your account from inside the app
The quickest way to delete everything:
- Open Threadwell and go to the Profile tab.
- Open Settings, then choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and associated data are permanently removed.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email privacy@threadwell.app from the address associated with your account (or include enough detail for us to identify it) with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Your account and profile (name, email, sign-in identifiers);
- Your optional skin and health profile (conditions, allergies, sensitivities);
- Your scanned items, closet, favorites, and any stored label images;
- Your preferences, values, and app settings.
What we may retain
We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it (for example, records needed for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Any data we keep is held only as long as necessary, and anonymized aggregate data that no longer identifies you may be retained.
Note: subscriptions are managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — manage that in your store account settings.
